About the Problem
1 in 10 children will experience child abuse
Our children are worthy and precious, and deserve to have the opportunity to grow and thrive in a safe environment. We can prevent child sexual abuse by bringing light to the issue and providing prevention education to adults.
Memu Inspires is dedicated to making the world a safer and better place for all children. Knowing that children become adults, we start at this foundational level to build awareness through education and support families by addressing the unknown, cope and overcome experienced traumas.

The path to a safer world
How can we see a world without child sexual abuse?
Challenge
Globally, it is estimated that up to 1 billion children aged 2–17 years, have experienced physical, sexual, or emotional violence or neglect in the past year (source: World Health Organization)
Solution
Preventing and responding to violence against children requires that efforts systematically address risk and protective factors at all four interrelated levels of risk (individual, relationship, community, society).
Testimonial
“Written carefully and sensitively, with both the child and the parent in mind, Memu McCoy’s “You Can Tell Me” is the only book I know that connects parent and child in a frank discussion about a “taboo” topic in our society. “
